Sounds great ... The Chalice and the BLade .. will have to see if I can find a
copy! We are much more than men with tits, but are men anything more than
females with penises?

Probably a variant on teats, the term for the mammalary apparatus on some of
the other mammals... or from the name of the inventor of the modern "bra"...

According to _Slang and Euphemism_ by Richard Spears, "tit" was British slang
for a horse (a filly) from the mid 1500s to 1800s (with no negative
connotations). It then came to mean a young woman, during the same period of
time. Then, it came to mean a prostitute in the late 1500s. In the 1700s,
"titty" came to mean nipple. Then, from the 1800s to present, it became U.S.
slang for the breast.

Subj: tits
tit n. Lit., teat or nipple; fig. used in the plural to = noticeable nipples
on shapely, protruding female breasts, as of a sweater girl. 1947: " 'Well,'
said Munroe. 'Thay girl ought to go to Hollywood.' 'She couldn't make it out
there,' blushed Wilson. 'No tits.'" C. Willingham, END AS A MAN, 93.
Universally used. Applied to both animal teats and human teats. "Teat" is now
no longer ever used in referring to women; women have tits or nipples, animals
have teats.

I must be getting old. This is the first time I've signed onto this BBS. I've read several messages and all of them sound like they have been written by 13 year olds. Is the Sysop 13 too?
Oh well, its your board. BY NOW.

Every now and then when your life gets complicated and the weasels start closing in, the only cure is to load up on heinous chemicals and then drive like a bastard from Hollywood to Las Vegas ... with the music at top volume and at least a pint of ether.

Dedicated to the other side of Las Vegas, namely; the sprawling, mad, incoherent underpinnings of the world's favorite destination. That, and the occasional ranting about nothing in particular. Follow @lavi_d_avegas
