Every now and then when your life gets complicated and the weasels start closing in, the only cure is to load up on heinous chemicals and then drive like a bastard from Hollywood to Las Vegas ... with the music at top volume and at least a pint of ether.

Hmm. Maybe Lavi is right - invest in alcohol, both the tangible asset (collectible wine?) and the companies (bottlers, distributors, etc). Cindy McCain is worth a buck or two thanks to beer money.
Cheers!
Cindy's Daddy got in on the ground floor. Beer and alcohol distributors in Arizona are small little monopolies.
A bar or restaurant MUST buy from the distributor. No Costco for them! They almost always pay a higher price per beer than the average citizen in a grocery store for example. They then have to resell for a profit or they bankrupt (just common sense).
How do I know? I ran a bar in Arizona for a while. I also attended the state classes to bartend, etc etc etc.
That's a slightly different ballgame than what you propose d and is also how Cindy's family got the millions or billions she has today.
