Way Out of the Box

We live in incredibly surreal times.

Millstream, at Desert Inn and Decatur; I believe it's a neighborhood.

As far as I can tell, there were never any mills in this part of the desert because, well, THERE WERE NEVER ANY STREAMS!

But hey, don't let that slow you down. The crowning absurdity being, of course, the stern warning sign, carefully crafted by someone else who was also unaware of any mills or streams in the area, because he/she assumed it was a wagon wheel.

Let's not even start talking about the floodlight blinding the security camera.

Okay. I need to go lie down.

That is fricken hilarious!

Every now and then when your life gets complicated and the weasels start closing in, the only cure is to load up on heinous chemicals and then drive like a bastard from Hollywood to Las Vegas ... with the music at top volume and at least a pint of ether.

-Hunter S. Thompson

Dedicated to the other side of Las Vegas, namely; the sprawling, mad, incoherent underpinnings of the world's favorite destination.

That, and the occasional ranting about nothing in particular.
