Unnatural

Several times today, water fell from the sky.

This is an amazing thing. It looks like real water, it gets things wet, yet I can't seem to shake the feeling that it might be a hoax or some sort of sinister government experiment.

Furst to comment it as a government plot to keep me from draining Lake Mead for my hedonistic pleasures of gardening and having a pool.

Their work sure made the afternoon nice.

We actually met a neighbor. picked cucumbers - then I weeded.

Thank you climate controlling big brother.

better than oobleck?

What happens to the traffic when the government conducts water-from-the-sky experiments?

Good question D.

Since Vegas streets typically get laden with oil month after month after...you get the idea...and have very poor drainage Kaos ensues.

I have seen a female in an F-150 spin a 360 entering McCarran from Trop. Fortunately...she didn't impact anyone else.

I drive Celia super slow because she has traction issues even on dry days...when the streets are wet it is ALMOST as bad as driving on slushy snow.

Yes, I have driven on snow and slush.

So we have idiots on oil slicked roads....what else would you expect?

Every now and then when your life gets complicated and the weasels start closing in, the only cure is to load up on heinous chemicals and then drive like a bastard from Hollywood to Las Vegas ... with the music at top volume and at least a pint of ether.

Dedicated to the other side of Las Vegas, namely; the sprawling, mad, incoherent underpinnings of the world's favorite destination.

That, and the occasional ranting about nothing in particular.
