Smokin' Hope

You can brew beer in your closet too (or your bathroom).

But it's axiomatic that large scale producers of beer or weed can do it better and cheaper than home grown.

Eventually (perhaps soon) the States will realize that:
a. people will use drugs regardless of laws against it
b. the cost to prevent use is enormous - and so is the cost of punishment
c. prohibition results in lost revenue (taxes not collected)

Since the cost is great and the harm is small the states will lead the way towards decriminalization. The feds will have no choice but to follow.

If the govt (R & D) would stop worrying about what people do in private, we'd all be much better off.

Every now and then when your life gets complicated and the weasels start closing in, the only cure is to load up on heinous chemicals and then drive like a bastard from Hollywood to Las Vegas ... with the music at top volume and at least a pint of ether.

-Hunter S. Thompson

Dedicated to the other side of Las Vegas, namely; the sprawling, mad, incoherent underpinnings of the world's favorite destination.

That, and the occasional ranting about nothing in particular.
