Old Flame

If I am not mistaken, this is a Suzuki GS-850 shaft-drive.

I've owned only one motorcycle in my life and that's what it was.

I bought a brand-new, 1979 GS-850N in March of 1980. After several years of really stupid high-speed inanities, I sold it to an acquaintance in order to raise money for a down-payment on a house.

This is how we grow old - one sensible decision at a time.

Shot in the yard of the Dynamite Gardeners, coincidentally.

oh yeah - those were the days.

As HST said: "you go faster and faster until the thrill of speed overcomes the fear of death"

sigh

Every now and then when your life gets complicated and the weasels start closing in, the only cure is to load up on heinous chemicals and then drive like a bastard from Hollywood to Las Vegas ... with the music at top volume and at least a pint of ether.

-Hunter S. Thompson

Dedicated to the other side of Las Vegas, namely; the sprawling, mad, incoherent underpinnings of the world's favorite destination.

That, and the occasional ranting about nothing in particular.
