White Stuff Not Cocaine

Obligatory picture of snow in Las Vegas. Towne Center at Summerlin Parkway.

Nothing spells "meteorological irony" like seeking shelter from snow under a palm tree.

(LOL title - "Global Warming... ur not doin it rite")

Very cool. I once saw snow in Phoenix. Las Vegas, Phoenix, sort of like a snow ball in Hell. Having seen everything, I can now die in peace.

How many traffic accidents did this cause?

How many snow men (maids) were made?

Are the strip sleepers curled into fetal positions?

Didn't it snow more last year?

And in 2006?

Just asking.

The mountains sure look pretty though.

D..didn't stick where this lowlander lives so no snow boobies.

It didn't snow on the strip from what I've heard.

I almost caused an accident. I was trying out my cars (supposed) All Wheel Drive in a traffic circle and managed to use both lanes. Fortunately, the gal next to me was keeping well away.

Lavi,

Most car AWD is useless. In fact, worse than useless.

Notable exceptions: Audi, Subaru. Otherwise, it is sometimes better than FWD, sometimes worse.

That is all.

Every now and then when your life gets complicated and the weasels start closing in, the only cure is to load up on heinous chemicals and then drive like a bastard from Hollywood to Las Vegas ... with the music at top volume and at least a pint of ether.

Dedicated to the other side of Las Vegas, namely; the sprawling, mad, incoherent underpinnings of the world's favorite destination.

That, and the occasional ranting about nothing in particular.
