Every now and then when your life gets complicated and the weasels start closing in, the only cure is to load up on heinous chemicals and then drive like a bastard from Hollywood to Las Vegas ... with the music at top volume and at least a pint of ether.

Furst!
There is an excellent you tube on my site that goes over these failed projects, Las Vegas economy and former mortgage industry strippers.
Steal it, you get much more traffic.
It is 24 minutes long....so maybe it deserves to be where no one watches it.
PS...not a Shameless Plug™ as if you decide to post it just delete this message.
The projects are moving forward because the economy is begining to turn about.
(Not everyone wants to enjoys the glum that you do.)
Eh, I just went short the market again this week...let me make an honest profit from my glum and buy a decent home at a reasonable price without attempts at guilting me Anon.
Do you have any specific evidence to share of projects 'turning around'?
I have posted evidence they aren't. Lavi has posted evidence they aren't. Vegas is just behind Phoenix for RRE percentage declines according to Case-Shillers latest report and still declining fast.
Please share Optomistic Anon™. I am not too old and glummy that I can not learn. Glommy maybe.
I put my money behind evidence, not hope.

Harrah's to sell one BILLION in new debt. This also briefly mentions the abortion of a Treasury auction today.
Best of luck out there Optomistic Anon™.
3/4's of that was from TODAY's Journal Review.
...the economy is begining to turn about.
Thank Shiva the economy is starting to turn about.
Not just turn about, but shimmy about, shake about, boogey about!
The economy has turned into this huge, funky dance monkey!
Dance monkey, dance! Yay!
