Sailing out of Vegas

Just waitin' for the tide to come back in.

(Actually, this is along Hwy 58, well into California, but what the hell, it's a blog. Shocker, I take liberties!)

I've wanted to take pictures of this boat since about '93. Meanwhile some wag went and painted "SS Minnow" on the other side, which, although funny, pretty much spoiled the formerly stark incongruity.

Every now and then when your life gets complicated and the weasels start closing in, the only cure is to load up on heinous chemicals and then drive like a bastard from Hollywood to Las Vegas ... with the music at top volume and at least a pint of ether.
